The Himalaya collection is inspired by the surface of the rocky mountains, the crumbly texture, and the complex palette that develops over multiple natural layers. Each rug is handwoven by skilled artisans using the finest materials, resulting in unique and durable pieces.
In creating the patterns, Tapis Rouge emulated the texture and the complex color palette of the raw inspiration material, combining different pile heights and loop' types with a 100 knots/inch² knot density.
The rug Sand Pebbles is made of 72 % wool, and 28% blend silk; the pile height is 5mm. (Sample production time: 4 weeks).
Production time is from 4 to 16 weeks (It depends on the technique and design of the rug).
